About the role
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP services, CAPM features, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- This role involves leading development efforts, ensuring high-quality code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and robust applications.
- Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance for SAP BTP CAPM-based solutions.
- Develop and consume OData services, REST APIs, and integrate with various SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Implement security best practices within SAP BTP applications, including authentication and authorization.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 3 years specifically focused on SAP BTP and CAPM.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js or Java for CAPM development.
- Proficiency in developing and consuming OData services, REST APIs, and integrating with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other systems.
- Experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, Business Application Studio, Destination Service, Connectivity Service, etc.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SAP CI/CD service).
