About the role

  • SUMMARY The Clubs & Societies Committee (CSC) is intended to be a forum for oversight, review, and development of Club and Society policies and their functions.
  • The CSC is an Ontario Tech Student Union (OTSU) committee and shall be a standing committee of the Board of Directors.
  • The Committee will work with OTSU's VP Student Life to enhance Clubs and Societies.

Responsibilities

  • The CSC provides students-at-large with the opportunity to work directly with the OTSU through the opportunity to establish strong networks and develop a deeper understanding of the OTSU's operations.

Requirements

  • Must be full-time students (enrolled in 3 or more courses) in good academic standing (with a cumulative GPA above 2.0) at Ontario Tech University
  • Must have clubs and/or societies experience
  • The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
  • Minimum 5 hours per month, which includes engaging in discussions, scheduled and ad-hoc meetings
