About the role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing shop employees, coordinating production schedules, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Assign work to technicians and monitor project progress.
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and panel layouts.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the daily activities of the control panel shop.
- Provide technical guidance and support to shop technicians.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity, and quality control.
- Identify production issues and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency.
- Conduct inspections and support testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain accurate production records, job documentation, and progress reports.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems, motor controls, PLCs, variable-frequency drives, and related components.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.

Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in control panel assembly, industrial electrical work, automation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production or inventory management systems.

- Previous supervisory or shop management experience is strongly preferred.
