Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant leadership or management experience required
- Solid business acumen with the ability to analyze metrics, trends, and operational results
- Working knowledge of inventory management, payroll, and retail systems
- Ability to complete required certifications, including Firearms Sales and Power Industrial Truck
- Comfort using ladders or step stools to access merchandise as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment while adapting to shifting priorities
- Ability to adhere to company policies and professional standards
- Bring your energy, your ideas, and your love for sports and the outdoors.
- Demonstrated success leading departments of up to 40 team members while driving operational excellence and achieving sales targets
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and hold others accountable
- Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortably manage and audit firearm sales, ensuring all transactions meet federal and state requirements through accurate completion of ATF Form 4473, background check verification, and final approval

- As a Softlines Manager, you will lead the Apparel and Footwear areas with a strong balance of people leadership and operational execution.
- Each day, you will translate sales trends, merchandise strategies, and operational priorities into clear plans that drive results on the sales floor.
- Your focus on standards, presentation, and execution will help create an engaging shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.
- You will own department performance by developing talent, managing labor, and ensuring visual and merchandising excellence.
- You will also partner with store leadership to execute company initiatives, ensure compliance, and continuously improve how the business operates.
- Who You Will Work With
- You will work closely with the Store Director and fellow leaders to align on priorities, performance goals, and store‑wide initiatives.
- Together, you will collaborate on staffing strategies, talent development, and operational execution that supports both the customer experience and business outcomes.
- On the floor, you will lead and mentor a diverse team of associates, building strong relationships through communication, trust, and accountability.
- You will also partner with cross‑functional leaders to support front‑end execution, inventory accuracy, and overall store success.
