Responsibilities

  • Support execution and training of product compliance programs, including policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Support identification of and addressing company compliance risks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Textile Engineering, or a related field
  • Equivalent experience in product and regulatory compliance or product development may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated product compliance experience with a bachelor's degree, OR 7+ years without a degree.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex regulations for non‑technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with product development and product management processes, including design reviews, product certification, and/or compliance checkpoints.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially in risk assessment and regulatory impact evaluation.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Customer service mindset, including responsiveness to internal and external stakeholder inquiries.
  • Self‑directed, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Nice to have

  • Product compliance experience in PPE, textiles, coatings, polymers, or other consumer/industrial goods subject to restricted substance or safety regulations.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers globally, especially in manufacturing environments.
  • Preferred: Product compliance experience in PPE, textiles, coatings, polymers, or other consumer/industrial goods subject to restricted substance or safety regulations.
