About the role

Carilion Clinic is hiring full-time RRTs to join our Acute Care team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital - a Magnet-designated, Level 1 trauma center and academic medical hub in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Performs basic and advanced therapeutic, diagnostic and life support respiratory care procedures in general and intensive patient care areas, or home care environment.
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in order to achieve optimum patient outcomes for patients of all ages as appropriate to service area.
Age specific ongoing assessments are completed, documented and used to develop a plan of care.

Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required.
Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the Virginia Board of Medicine required.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
Respiratory Therapy degree from a CoARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) accredited program required.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the Virginia Board of Medicine required.

$30.47 - $45.71 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
