About the role
- We are hiring Senior Engineers focused on integrations.
- Client-system integrations are critical to Clark's GTM motion.
- For Clark to become deeply embedded in customer workflows, it must connect reliably with the tools accounting firms and their clients depend on.
Responsibilities
- Design and build customer-facing integrations
- Build APIs, connectors, sync systems, and data ingestion workflows
- Work with customer systems, accounting tools, document repositories, and workflow platforms
- Partner with Sales, CS, Implementation, and Product to understand customer integration needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience designing APIs and integration systems
- Experience working with third-party APIs, data sync, authentication, and permissions
- High ownership and ability to operate with ambiguity
- Experience with accounting, audit, fintech, ERP, CRM, or document-management systems
- Experience with OAuth, SSO, permissions, and customer data access patterns
- Experience at an early-stage startup
