About the role
- In this role, you will be responsible for prepping the aluminum surface of the rollers and applying proprietary coatings to WINertia TM rollers.
- You will ensure each product meets our high-quality standards before shipping to customers.
- You will work closely with our production and quality teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in the coating process.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain coating booth equipment in accordance with company standards
- Perform set ups and inspections of coated parts using appropriate measuring tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and environmental guidelines
- Clean and maintain all masking and racking equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, and process instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Ability to use chisels, drills, and a variety of small hand tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to wear dual ear protection, (Ear plugs and Ear muffs)
- Very good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Physical Requirements
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- technical training a plus.
- Previous experience in plasma spraying, thermal spray, or industrial coating preferred (will train the right candidate).
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate: $24.00/HR
