Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Work closely with the CISO team to develop and execute the company's cybersecurity strategy, ensuring that it aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks, developing mitigation plans and implementing security controls to protect the company's assets.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring that the team is prepared to respond effectively to security incidents.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of significant security incidents, working with stakeholders to minimize the impact and prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.
Requirements
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive success, while actively participating in reporting cycles, and monthly/ quarterly status reviews as required.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in IT security, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong understanding of security technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with incident response and management.
- Familiarity with relevant security standards, regulations, and policies.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field is preferred.
Skills
- A Strong Security practitioner with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of business objectives and the ability to align security initiatives with business goals.
- CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are preferred.

Compensation
- The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $152,000 to $198,000.

- The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity.
