About the role

  • Interprets the manufacturing process instructions, visual aids/drawings (e.g. microscope and magnifying lenses).
  • Scans product and enters information into the shop floor control system or manual tracking systems when applicable.
  • Use machines, such as an Automatic Inspection machine, to detect defects.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee frequently is required to handle small components.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk and hear.
