  • Track cutting-edge power semiconductor roadmaps (SiC, GaN, etc.) and leverage new device capabilities for product innovation.
  • Evaluate thermal, electrical, and reliability trade-offs in device selection for high-power applications.
  • Actively contribute to CIGRE, IEC, IEEE working groups on DC protection, MVDC/HVDC systems, and solid-state breakers.
  • Work with R&D, product development, and application engineering to translate technical insights into market-ready solutions.
  • Mentor engineering teams on advanced power electronics and protection concepts.
  • Your areas of expertise MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a closely related field.
  • Deep understanding of device ruggedness, switching losses, and thermal management in high-power applications.
  • Strong track record of patents, publications, or technical whitepapers in power electronics, DC protection, or semiconductor switching (preferred).
