Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and through electronic media
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
- Proven success working within matrixed teams
- Advanced Degree in a Scientific (Chemistry, Biology,…) or Information (Computer Science, Informatics,…) related discipline.
Nice to have
- 15+ years' experience in providing scientific information solutions to the biopharmaceutical industry
- Experience in drug discovery, clinical development or commercial manufacture processes and lab informatics systems
- Ability to effectively abstract data challenges while providing solutions that meet the needs of end users
- Extensive experience in data modeling for scientific information needs
- Experience with both traditional, relational data stacks and NoSQL technologies for data integration
- Experience with scientific data analytics and associate tools commonly used in life sciences research and development a plus
Skills
- Abstract across multiple client data environments to find commonalities in data models and solutions
- Effectively communicate proposed architectures to both technologists and business leadership
