About the role

  • You'll be the go-to expert driving innovative, secure, and optimized solutions.
  • This position can be based anywhere in the United States.
  • Where: The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia.

Responsibilities

  • o Lead the design, deployment and evolution of AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • o Manage and deploy AWS Organization services across the enterprise (e.g., Control Tower, IAM Identity Center, IPAM, etc.)
  • o Build and maintain automation for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, alerting, and remediation using scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
  • o Partner with Security teams to implement zero-trust, WAF, governance, and compliance controls.
  • o Implement and continuously improve FinOps practices, including usage monitoring, cost optimization, and capacity planning.
  • o Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to define cloud architecture and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • o Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational documentation.
  • Excellent soft skills including communication, teamwork, building effective relationships and leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience designing, operating, and scaling cloud infrastructure, with deep expertise in AWS.
  • Proficiency with automation and CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud-native workloads.
  • Experience with containers (EKS), serverless architectures, or microservices platforms.

Nice to have

  • Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).

Compensation

  • The target base compensation for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 USD per hour/ year (only if annual bonus/commission/LTIP is included in compensation) and a variable component included in most US /Canada locations.
