Responsibilities
- Perform routine analytical testing on RO/NF membranes, feed and permeate streams, microbial samples, and customer samples
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments and custom testing equipment
- Develop, validate, and continuously improve analytical methods and lab processes
- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds and perspectives
- Actively support site and department safety initiatives
- Document and report experimental data using LIMS
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (relevant experience may be considered)
- 20+ hours of college-level coursework in technical disciplines (chemistry, engineering, polymer science, or similar) required
- Ability to work independently, from task initiation through data analysis and reporting
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Nice to have
- 2+ years of R&D lab experience preferred, including operation and maintenance of analytical equipment
- Working knowledge of analytical techniques (ICP, ICP-MS, FTIR, SEM, etc.) is a plus
