About the role
- The Gate Attendant serves as the first point of contact for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors entering the Blue Moon Metals project site.
Responsibilities
- Issue visitor badges and maintain visitor sign-in/sign-out logs.
- Maintain accurate records of site access, deliveries, and contractor activity.
- Prepare reports and maintain records using Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Ensure all visitors receive required safety information before entering the site.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact positively with employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Education
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, security, administration, or gate operations preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- First Aid/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Experience using access control or visitor management systems.
- Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to work in an office located at the site entrance with frequent interaction with vehicle traffic.
- Ability to work outdoors periodically in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime as operational needs require.
