About the role

  • We seek a Senior Software Engineer who be part of the team designing our all new neurosurgical imaging platform and will help maintain our installed base of neurosurgical imaging systems.
  • The right candidate will have experience with a wide range of embedded software tools, as well as experience and passion in defining and implementing embedded software for motion control, dedicated user interfaces, subsystem interaction management, remote monitoring and onboard diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and other software engineers to deliver new subsystems and platforms to the market
  • Maintain and develop new features for a legacy hardware and software codebase
  • Respond to and provide analysis of customer support issues
  • The right candidate will have experience in managing project deliverables and leading small software design projects.

Requirements

  • Visual Studio development experience
  • Experience maintaining a large codebase
  • Experience with software version control
  • Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal direction
