About the role
- Bethesda Family Medicine Clinic: The team at University of Minnesota Physicians Bethesda Clinic provides a full range of services for you and your family.
- Our patients include newborns, children, teenagers, adults, the elderly, and residents of nursing homes.
- Our clinic offers services in general family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, chronic and acute conditions, travel medicine, primary refugee screenings, social services, patient education, and referral to specialty care.
Responsibilities
- The team will best be served by a true team player who is willing to pitch in on the floor when necessary and lead by example.
- Continuously improves and maintains expertise in profession, develops better processes and continuously improves skills.
Requirements
- Supervise training of staff upon hire and ongoing development to ensure that employees are competent to perform the skills and tasks required for their position.
- Five years of nursing experience in an ambulatory or inpatient care setting including two years of supervisory or nursing leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Proven Patient Centered Care and above average performance as a nurse.
- Ability to multi-task on an ongoing basis.
- Must be a relationship-builder, superior patient advocate, self-motivated problem solver, continuous improver and technically advanced in nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
