Responsibilities

  • The LPN will partner with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
  • Performs all nursing care within scope of practice to assigned patients under the supervision of an RN, APP, or provider
  • Manages patient assignment within assigned shift
  • Receives, places and documents provider orders/communication in timely manner using approved abbreviations
  • Administers medications, injections, places and maintains nasogastric tube feeds, and provides wound care according to facility and state regulations
  • Collaborates with staff to assist with transportation arrangements for patient appointments outside of ERC
  • You'll work alongside passionate clinicians, dedicated support staff, and mission-driven leaders who believe in collaboration, growth, and doing the right thing-always.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (Required)
  • Active LPN license in the state job is held (Required)
  • BLS certification (Required)
  • Ability to keep patient information confidential (Required)
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations (Required)
  • Active Maryland LPN licensure required.
  • The LPN may be required to work on-call shifts based on business needs, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.

  • The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.

  • Performs and documents vital signs, responses to treatment, education and nursing care and assists with other basic medical care tasks assigned
  • Reports abnormal changes in patients or patients' health and mental status to RN or provider in a timely manner
  • Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors
  • Bonus qualities:
  • 1+ years of experience working with in the mental health field, IV skills/certification, knowledge/experience with nasogastric tubes (Preferred)
