Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs and ladders (portable, fixed).
- Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
- Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
- Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
- Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of chemical handling procedures including PPE required.
- Perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work their bid
- shift, overtime, and weekends as required.
- Successfully pass qualification test and must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights.
Nice to have
- Mixing machine operation, blending, food industry, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Related Experience: Mixing machine operation, blending, food industry, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
