Responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Partner with technicians, production, and engineering teams to optimize operations
- Track equipment performance, analyze faults (SPC/Pareto), and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Ability to read schematics and apply statistical process control (SPC)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE and physical demands (standing, lifting, etc.)
Nice to have
- Experience in semiconductor or cleanroom manufacturing
- Knowledge of robotics, vacuum, pneumatic, or PLC systems
- Programming experience (e.g., Python, Visual Basic)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and data analysis skills
- Improved equipment uptime and performance
- Reduced downtime through proactive maintenance and root cause fixes
- Strong collaboration across manufacturing teams
- What Success Looks Like
Skills
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues to maximize uptime and reliability
- Develop and improve preventative maintenance procedures and schedules
- Support tool installs, upgrades, and qualifications
- Work safely with chemicals, gases, and cleanroom protocols
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate with operators and technicians to identify performance gaps
- Support process experiments and new test methods
- Promote a strong safety-first culture
Compensation
- $64k-$88k

- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
