Responsibilities

  • Provide services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
  • Train and mentor junior team members. Lead by example to promote a high-performance team culture.

  • Our growing team is seeking a Designer to lead the design of small to medium-sized linear infrastructure projects in the Greater Toronto Area to work out of one of our Ontario offices - Ottawa, Whitby, North York, Toronto, or Hamilton.
  • Support project managers and work with the project design team to deliver projects (Environmental Assessment Reports, Studies and Detailed Design) to meet client requirements.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
  • CET with OACETT, or eligible to register.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in water and wastewater design of linear infrastructure within existing rights-of-way.
  • Engineering support during construction and Contract administration experience is considered an asset.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

  • TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $87,000-$115,000 for this position and local market. TYLin is proud to offer exciting career development opportunities coupled with a comprehensive total rewards package.
