About the role

  • This role ensures data integrity, operational excellence, and an effective user experience across the Workday environment while aligning HR technology solutions with evolving business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements discovery, process mapping, and solution design
  • Own and maintain Workday configuration (business processes, eligibility rules, condition rules, calculated fields, tenant configuration), ensuring data integrity, auditability, and a strong end-user experience.
  • Partner with HR and cross functional stakeholders and downstream teams to deliver enterprise solutions that align to the broader HR strategy and operating model.
  • design and implement enhancements that improve user experience, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead Workday release management activities for functional areas of expertise: impact assessments, testing strategy (including regression), tenant moves, stakeholder communications, and post-deployment stabilization.
  • Create and maintain system documentation (process maps, configuration decisions, job aids, and runbooks) and contribute to training materials for end users.
  • Mentor and support junior HR Technology team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues, evaluate options, and recommend pragmatic solutions.
  • Ability to translate technical and functional concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with discretion and sound judgment.

Nice to have

  • Workday training and/or certifications strongly preferred (Workday Pro a plus).
  • Strong skills with reporting and data analysis tools (Workday reporting, calculated fields
  • Experience with EIBs and data loads preferred.

Compensation

  • MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k)
  • $98,500.00 - $141,500.00This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.

  • This range reflects our good-faith expectation for what we'll pay depending on the candidate's experience, training and education.
  • In addition to the salary, we also offer significant and competitive incentive compensation based on both individual and company performance.
