About the role
- The position is responsible for quality meals served, quality of service delivery during meal service, for maintaining standards of kitchen cleanliness and for the compliance with special diets offered by the community.

Requirements
- State Food Service Certification required, if applicable.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to residents, residents' families, and other employees of the company.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English and understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Other duties may be required and assigned.
Nice to have
- and minimum of one to three months related experience and/or training
Skills
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Cognitive Demands: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- I understand that I may be required to work overtime, different shifts or hours outside the normally defined workday or workweek.
