About the role

  • The position will work under the Park's Interpretation program, but also in collaboration with Cultural Resources.
  • Likely Entry On Duty: October 2026 Open to the first 30 applicants.
  • Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience.

Responsibilities

  • This position provides Historian support to the park by researching, writing, and educating about historical resources of the park.

  • Have at least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-05 level in the federal government (obtained in either the public or private sectors).

  • The total must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.
