About the role
- We are looking for an energetic, team-oriented individual with excellent relationship management skills to join our School Breakfast Program team.
- You will be working as part of a team of Community Development Coordinators and will work collaboratively on the development of program resources and administrative processes to ensure that program objectives are met.
- Work with school principals and on-site coordinators (program monitors, school staff and volunteers) to ensure smooth delivery of programs within assigned schools.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to ensure food safety standards and Student Nutrition Guidelines are met.
- Maintain relationships with key partners.
- Strong ability to collaborate and maintain positive partnerships partners
Requirements
- Implement new programs in schools as required.
- Required Skills and Experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community development, social sciences, nutrition, education, health promotion, or a related field, including experience with program coordination or management
- Satisfactory Police Record Check in alignment with ONFE's Conditions of Employment Policy.
- Driver's license, and access to a reliable motor vehicle with insurance coverage that has no policy restrictions for work related driving.
- Fluency in English and French (oral and written) and fluency in other languages.
