About the role

  • We are looking for an energetic, team-oriented individual with excellent relationship management skills to join our School Breakfast Program team.
  • You will be working as part of a team of Community Development Coordinators and will work collaboratively on the development of program resources and administrative processes to ensure that program objectives are met.
  • Work with school principals and on-site coordinators (program monitors, school staff and volunteers) to ensure smooth delivery of programs within assigned schools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to ensure food safety standards and Student Nutrition Guidelines are met.
  • Maintain relationships with key partners.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and maintain positive partnerships partners

Requirements

  • Implement new programs in schools as required.
  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in community development, social sciences, nutrition, education, health promotion, or a related field, including experience with program coordination or management
  • Satisfactory Police Record Check in alignment with ONFE's Conditions of Employment Policy.
  • Driver's license, and access to a reliable motor vehicle with insurance coverage that has no policy restrictions for work related driving.
  • Fluency in English and French (oral and written) and fluency in other languages.
