About the role

Purpose within the Organization The purpose of this position is to assist the Intramural Manager and Intramural Coordinator in working the various programs offered within Intramural Sports.
Related to Purpose: Your primary goal will be to generate excitement, increase participation, and promote the events and activities within the intramural sports program.
Stay Updated: - Keep yourself informed about current trends, social media algorithms, and best practices in content creation and sports marketing.

Equipment - Students will use their own equipment (camera, lens, etc.), with the Intramural Sports program providing minimal editing software.
Develop high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for various platforms, such as social media, websites, blogs, and newsletters.
Create engaging posts, articles, videos, graphics, and other media to showcase upcoming events, game highlights, player spotlights, and general sports-related content.
Create post-event content, including summaries, highlights, and behind-the-scenes stories.
Collaborate with other campus organizations, student clubs, and local businesses to cross-promote intramural sports events and activities.
Build partnerships with relevant influencers or sports personalities to amplify the reach of your content.
Maintain open communication with the intramural sports program coordinators, managers, and participants to stay informed about upcoming events and updates.

Proven work experience as a Content Creator, or similar role.
Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Possess good leadership skills.
Genuine interest in serving students.
Available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
