About the role
- The purpose of this position is to provide accounting and financial planning and analysis support to the Fresh Meats (Beef and Pork) group. This includes generating reports and analyzing/summarizing data to provide insights, assisting with forecasts and financial documents, identifying drivers in budget to actual variances, working as a liaison between
- corporate and plant contacts and other duties to partner with the business. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, well organized, comfortable multi-tasking, focused on continuous improvement and automation, and have strong analytical/problem solving skills. Requirements
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact with key management leadership at all levels.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice to have
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial field preferred.
- Bachelor's degree
- Finance or Accounting preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, preferred.
