About the role
- This is a foundational role within a newly established, fast-growing unit.
- Candidates who show genuine curiosity about the technical side of life-insurance risk selection - risk classification, medical/financial evidence, and case strategy - will find real opportunities to expand their scope over time.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clear, up-to-date view of the status of all assigned files, acting as the main operational point of contact for status inquiries, and ensuring advisors and internal stakeholders receive regular, responsive, and well-calibrated updates.
- Serve as the central coordination point between advisors, insurers, and vendors, facilitating efficient and professional information flow, and supporting the Strategic Risk Selection team through preparation and organization of case documents.
- Support adherence to service deadlines and processing expectations, contributing to a high level of execution on every file.
- Support an efficient, smooth handoff of files once submitted to the insurer.
- Collaborate with other operational leaders to establish tracking mechanisms that support reporting on files submitted by the Strategic Risk Selection division.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to track expenses and their recovery.
- Contribute to developing a scalable, repeatable case-management model.
- Work directly with the VP, Strategic Risk Selection to build hands-on knowledge of risk-selection analysis, risk classification principles, and case strategy

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
