Responsibilities
- Review financial statements, including MD&A and footnotes, and lead disclosure checklist reviews, ensuring financial statements disclosures comply with GAAP requirements and in line with industry practice
- Lead interactions with the business and corporate functions to analyze significant/complex transactions and document the related accounting conclusions
- Assist with developing accounting and reporting policies and periodically update policies as new guidance is issued
- Lead, develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers throughout the company
- Assist in projects to help refine procedures that will create uniformity across businesses
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and coordinate several tasks at one time, prioritize effectively, and set/achieve deadlines for key deliverables
- Our ideal candidate is independent, motivated, detail‐orientated and able to analyze data and convey conclusions effectively, with a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively work in team-oriented environment
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check.
- Must be willing to work from the New York office.
Nice to have
- CPA with 6+ years of working experience, including public accounting experience

Compensation
- $125,000 - $150,000
