About the role

The systems are low latency, high throughput, live under constant load, and break if you get them wrong.

You'll own the hardest frontend problems - performance under real load, architectural scalability, and correctness in complex, stateful systems.
Define and drive long-term frontend architecture strategy while actively implementing critical parts of the system
Own performance, reliability, and correctness across mission-critical user flows, including rendering performance, state management, caching, and data synchronization
Lead the design of frontend systems that handle real-time updates, blockchain state changes, and high-frequency interactions without degrading UX
Drive cross-functional architectural decisions with backend and Solana engineers, shaping clean client-server boundaries and data contracts
Lead multi-quarter frontend initiatives end to end - from RFC and design to rollout, monitoring, and iteration
Raise the bar for engineering quality through rigorous design reviews, performance audits, testing standards, and operational readiness
Improve developer velocity by evolving tooling, build systems, CI/CD, observability, and frontend infrastructure
Strong architectural instincts - able to design frontend systems that remain coherent as product and team scale
High-agency and execution-focused - you shape direction by building, not by delegating.
