About the role
- This individual will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new business opportunities within enterprise organizations.
- You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, introducing them to Thread AI's Lemma platform and the transformative power of composable AI infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated opportunities to assess fit and interest
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system
- Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on messaging, campaigns, and lead quality
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or lead generation role, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline generation targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Strong research skills and the ability to understand complex enterprise environments
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
- Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms
Nice to have
- Experience selling to or prospecting into government, public sector, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, workflow automation, or developer tools
- Experience working at an early-stage startup
- Background in technical or consultative sales environments

- $70,000 - $90,000 + Variable Pay + Equity

- This is a full-time, in-person position based at our New York City office.
