About the role

  • This individual will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new business opportunities within enterprise organizations.
  • You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, introducing them to Thread AI's Lemma platform and the transformative power of composable AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated opportunities to assess fit and interest
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on messaging, campaigns, and lead quality

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or lead generation role, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline generation targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
  • Strong research skills and the ability to understand complex enterprise environments
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to or prospecting into government, public sector, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, workflow automation, or developer tools
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup
  • Background in technical or consultative sales environments

Compensation

  • $70,000 - $90,000 + Variable Pay + Equity

  • This is a full-time, in-person position based at our New York City office.
