About the role

Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive team-based work environment.
Facilitates good patient care under the supervision of a physician.
Prepares patients for examination and treatment.

Ability to work in a stressful environment reacting calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to work as a team player - recognizing that each person's contributions are integral to the delivery of excellent patient care.
Completion of and certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program/school.
Working Knowledge of medical terminology.
Hours: This is a temporary, full-time position with the potential to become permanent. Our clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our staff work the four-day work schedule that their assigned provider works.
Additional Notes: This job location is in our Provo office. On occasion staff are asked to work at one of our satellite office locations, currently American Fork and Lehi, in order to provide needed coverage.

Current CPR certification or obtain within 4 months of hire.
Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push, and/or carry up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally is required.
Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time is required.
Spanish-speaking is a plus.
Experience preferred: 2-3 years.
