About the role

Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation
The Site Safety Coordinator will be responsible for providing safety coverage in the field and coordination with sub-contractors and their safety personnel for work on the project site.
This individual shall assist the Site Safety Manager in managing the site safety program.

Maintain inventories of safety supplies and report this weekly to the Safety Manager.
Work closely with field supervision to implement more complex safety aspects of the project construction including lifting plans, traffic control, work plans, etc.
Develop and maintain a working relationship with the owner or the owner's representative and Ferrovial Webber Energy personnel.
Assist with the anticipation of project conflicts, communication of preventative action plans, and implement approved solutions to avoid issues

Experience of at least 3 to 5 years of safety experience in the construction industry
Experience of at least 3+ years in Renewable Generation Projects (Solar or Wind Farms)
NFPA 70E will be valued though not required
Bilingual English/Spanish will be valued though not required
Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects
Computer knowledge and working knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
