About the role

  • Your expertise will be instrumental in solving complex engineering challenges and mentoring engineering teams to achieve breakthrough semiconductor solutions.
  • Evaluation and characterization of RF systems, ADCs, DACs, and high-speed serial interfaces for cutting-edge transceiver products.
  • Verification & release of embedded software for system level mixed-signal products.

Responsibilities

  • document and present findings to design and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and automate test solutions using Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and other programming tools for RF and mixed-signal verification.
  • Interface as the central resource with design, test, application, software and marketing teams as the product(s) move from design to completion and distribution.
  • Debug and analyze complex mixed-signal and RF systems across all operating conditions; document and present findings to design and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in EE or ECE or equivalent relevant experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience taking complex wireless platforms from development to market.
  • Proven expertise in automating RF tests and working with advanced lab equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes)
  • Familiarity with RF concepts such as linearity measurements (1-tone, 2-tone), noise figure, S-parameters, phase noise measurements, spurious analysis, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of analog and RF circuits, high-speed serial interfaces, ADCs/DACs, and mixed-signal systems.
  • Experience with digital and DSP concepts such as FFTs, sampling theorem, digital filters, etc.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of a programing language such as LabView, Python, MATLAB or C/C++/ C#
  • Experience working with firmware engineers in the definition and verification of complex DSP algorithms
