- Summary: The Manufacturing Operator operates and monitors precision equipment used in lithium-ion battery prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with EHS, engineering, facilities, and R&D teams to support process development and continuous improvement
- This role supports a fast-paced R&D environment by producing high-quality experimental cells while maintaining strict safety and process standards.
- Operators are expected to develop deep expertise in at least one process area while remaining competent across all others.
- We partner with OEMs and suppliers across the mobility space, as well as clients in non-mobility industries, to deliver innovative solutions and accelerate product development.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience operating manufacturing or processing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Experience operating and using Siemens PLCs.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
Nice to have

- Experience with battery manufacturing or similar materials/process equipment preferred
- Familiarity with coating, mixing, calendering, slitting, assembly processes, or battery testing preferred
- Experience in prototyping, pilot-line, or R&D environments preferred
- Knowledge of dryroom practices and quality systems preferred
