About the role
- Our team has grown to the point where it needs more leaders.
- This is a leadership role, but not a purely managerial one: you'll ramp as an IC first, keep doing hands-on work in your pods, and serve as a technical and clinical sounding board for your team.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop ~5 clinical AI ICs across two pods, growing clinicians who are new to tech into strong operators.
- Domain Ownership: Own the clinical AI roadmap, quality, and delivery for your pods.
- Hands-On IC Work: Carry your own projects within your pods: prompting, evaluation design, error analysis, and clinical content work.
- Coaching: Help your ICs build strong execution habits: project planning, timelines, and proactive communication.
- Strong executor: reliable, organized, and proactive. People trust you to own things end to end.
- We operate as a championship team, and that means being ok with hard, uncomfortable, ambiguous problems that lead to real greatness.
- You will have meaningful autonomy and be expected to drive work to completion.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years at a tech company after (or alongside) clinical practice.
- There is no playbook for it, and the people doing it well combine clinical judgment, technical skill, and the ability to work through ambiguous, fast-changing problems.
Nice to have
- Hands-on LLM product experience (prompting, evaluations, error analysis) is a strong plus.
- Startup experience is a plus
- excitement for the pace and ownership of one is a must.
Compensation
- 401(k) with a company match of up to 3% of base salary
