Responsibilities
- Validate complex calculations and product behavior, including interest, mortality, morbidity, present value, future value, and risk-based logic within the software environment.
- Build and maintain automated validation and testing approaches that compare system outputs to expected results and support reliable, low-regression releases.
- Partner with actuaries, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality product behavior across connected systems.

Requirements
- Degree or coursework in Engineering, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex product logic, identify risks, and make sound decisions.
Skills
- Experience with SQL, Python, SFTP, APIs, and product configuration or business rules engines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years applicable experience
- Demonstrated leadership on mid-large scale projects

Compensation
- We accomplish this by offering a wide variety of market competitive compensation programs to attract, reward, and retain top talent.
- The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $99,108.00 - $134,087.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions.
- The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
