About the role
- Citizens Health is recruiting a pharmacist to work full-time in the inpatient pharmacy.
- Days and hours: Monday through Friday, rotating shifts 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm, with call every 3rd week Pay Range: Salaried position.
Requirements
- (Minimum Requirements)
- Proficiency in sterile and non-sterile compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous medication preparations as governed by LSP 797/800.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- What you bring to the table: (Minimum Requirements)
- Current State of Kansas Pharmacist license.
- Proof of passing both NAPLEX and MPJE examinations.
- Knowledge of hospital pharmaceuticals and medical institution laws and regulations as set forth in Kansas Pharmacy Laws and regulations.
- Ability to operate healthcare software systems and navigate patient charts.
- Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding correspondence.
- Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards.
