About the role

  • RIT's Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering Technology invites applications from candidates in the areas of digital electronics, analog electronics or electronics for biomedical systems.
  • The candidate's research must specialize in one or more of the following areas: digital electronics, analog electronics, electronics for biomedical systems, quantum electronics or neuromorphic computing with a record of refereed publications in the area.

Responsibilities

  • Faculty and staff include 26 tenured/tenure-track faculty members, six lecturers, four support staff, and three academic advisors.

Requirements

  • Prior course or lab (Teaching Assistant) teaching experience in electrical engineering related fields
  • This will be required to ensure your application is processed in a timely manner.
  • Candidates must have prior teaching experience; potential for establishing and conducting sponsored research; excellent written and oral communication skills; and ability to collaborate within and beyond the department.
  • PhD. in Electrical, Microelectronic and/or Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Refereed publications in one or more of the following areas:
  • digital electronics
  • analog electronics
  • electronics for biomedical systems
  • devices & circuits based on emerging electronics materials
  • nanoelectronics and semiconductors
  • neuromorphic computing and artificial intelligence hardware
  • quantum electronics
  • Potential for establishing and conducting sponsored research.

Compensation

  • In compliance with NYS's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is listed above.
