What you'll be doing: The Registered Nurse is responsible for supporting clinical and administrative functions at the Health Center in a way that ensures high-quality care for our patients.

The Registered Nurse provides direct and support services to patients in a manner consistent with clinical protocol and the organization's mission and values.
Manages the lab space to ensure supplies are up-to-date and are maintained according to quality control standards
Maintains clinical quality assurance standards as set forth by PPSNE

Provides all appropriate patient information/education in a thorough, professional, and non-biased manner
Provides education to patients as appropriate in family planning services, birth control methods, sexually transmitted infections, HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), laboratory testing, and pregnancy options counseling
Ensures that the information/education given to the patient is current, accurate, and expertly communicated
Ensures all lab procedures are carried out in accordance with safety and medical protocols
The Registered Nurse is responsible for supporting clinical and administrative functions at the Health Center in a way that ensures high-quality care for our patients.
Travels to other procedural abortion sites at the affiliate to provide recovery room and/or sedation nursing coverage
Manages medical emergencies and consults with physicians or advanced practice clinicians as needed during same
Participates in providing all PPSNE medical services including medication and procedural abortion care
