About the role
- We're seeking an exceptional Compiler Engineer to join our core platform team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize compilers for Revel's proprietary hardware control language.
- Implement advanced compiler techniques including parsing, semantic analysis, intermediate representation (IR), optimization passes, and code generation.
- Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to refine and evolve our compiler architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proficiency in C++
- Proven experience with performance optimization and deterministic system constraints.
- Deep expertise in compiler design and implementation using LLVM or custom compiler toolchains.
- Strong grasp of compiler internals, optimization techniques, and code generation strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a rigorous engineering mindset.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with real-time, embedded, or mission-critical systems.
- Experience integrating compilers within broader software and hardware development ecosystems.
