Requirements
- Ability to make sound decisions and work independently on shift
- Knowledge of community resources and referral processes
- DEC or Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1 to 2 years of experiences working in a shelter, residential, or community-based setting (asset)
- 1 to 2 years experiences supporting vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing crisis (asset)
Skills
- Strong crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills
- Active listening and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Compensation
- $51,000 - 52,000
- START DATE: As soon as possible
- PROBATION: Three (3) month probation period, after which an evaluation will be conducted.
