About the role
- CACI is looking for a Network System Administrator to join the Luke Team!
- You will need to be proficient in Cisco network solutions, as well as software defined networks and firewalls from AWS, Google, and Microsoft.

Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment (Cisco routers, switches, firewalls) ensuring seamless network operations
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and network design documentation
- Perform network upgrades to maintain system integrity and overall availability
- Support and administer third-party applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field or similar experience
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting production network systems built with Cisco and/or Juniper network vendor platforms
- Knowledge of and experience with networking technology and protocols, TCP/IP, Routing (static, OSPF, BGP, and policy-based), Firewalls (zone based polices and ACLs), SSH, VPNs
- Knowledge of network management platforms such as Solarwinds
- Experience with network device hardening in accordance with industry best practices
- Knowledge of different operating systems (Microsoft, Unix, Linux, etc.)
- Experience with automating network tasks using Ansible or Python
- Familiarity with cloud hosting solutions such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
- What You Can Expect:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience designing and building enterprise-level network architectures
- Demonstrated understanding of IPv4 networks
- Attention to detail, problem solving mindset, critical thinking and teamworking skills
- Cisco CCNP or Juniper JCNIP certifications or skill level at minimum (Senior / Expert)
- VMWare experience
Compensation
- There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
- We offer competitive compensation, benefits and learning and development opportunities.
- The proposed salary range for this position is:
- $120,800 - $265,800
