About the role
- Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and maintainable application architectures.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating backend applications on AWS, including services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
Requirements
- Expert-level hands-on experience with current Node.js LTS versions and TypeScript for building scalable, high-performance backend applications.
- Proficiency with backend frameworks such as NestJS, Express.js, or Fastify.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including complex SQL queries, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases, caching solutions, and data modeling where required.
- Strong knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JWT.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and API tests using tools such as Jest, Mocha, or equivalent testing frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, automated deployments, and modern software development practices.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and integrating AI capabilities into backend applications.
- Experience with Redis, messaging systems, observability tools, and cloud-native architectures.
