- The University of Miami/UHealth's General Counsel has an exciting opportunity for a temporary full time Legal Assistant to work in Coral Gables, FL.
- Core Responsibilities: Administers attorney(s)' calendar, makes scheduling arrangements, and orchestrates travel plans as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and processes legal documents, such as summons, complaints, appeals, motions, and settlements.
- Makes photocopies of correspondence, documents, and other printed matter.
- Organizes and maintains law libraries, documents, and case files.
- The Legal Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to attorney(s) in order to enhance office effectiveness and facilitate the delivery of legal services.
Requirements
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
- Associate degree in relevant field required
