Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to gain a deep understanding of their business and objectives
- Deliver creative client solutions to complex accounting, tax, and business issues within Ag and other industries
- Apply accounting, advisory, and tax expertise to effectively support client and firm needs
- Lead, plan, oversee, and execute client engagements to ensure outstanding service, within appropriate budgeting and job realizations
- Delegate tasks, set clear goals, provide necessary resources, remove obstacles, and manage schedules to ensure efficient, timely completion of projects
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on accounting and tax
- CPA license with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed personal charge hour goals and promote efficiency and productivity within the team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to creatively improve and follow processes
- Technical proficiency in MS Office, tax and accounting software, and the ability to learn new applications
- External Servicers must get written approval from Simon Lever, LLC's HR department before submitting resumes and must have a valid contract in place.
- 2+ years as an in-charge or lead advisor in public accounting supporting Agribusiness clients
- Strong curiosity to fully understand the Agribusiness industry
