About the role

  • The Atlassian Application Architect & Administrator III is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of Atlassian tools, specifically Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • A key responsibility will be to continuously assess and improve processes to enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps will also be essential.

Responsibilities

  • You will identify areas for improvement, develop improvement plans, and lead their implementation.
  • Additionally, you will support collaboration with external vendors and service providers to define contracted services and ensure they meet the agreed-upon requirements of the business.
  • We deliver mission-proven technologies to our customers that safeguard our nation, protect space-based assets and enable space exploration.

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +3 yrs experience).
  • Typically 5+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in software environments and upgrades.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Proficiency in Atlassian automation tools
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • An active U.S. TS/SCI clearance is preferred

Compensation

  • $105,929.00 - $145,673.00
  • Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
