About the role

  • We are seeking a Permian Title Landman to join our growing team and work directly with project management.
  • As a member of our team, you will conduct title and mineral ownership research, analyze public records, and prepare reports that help our clients make informed decisions regarding drilling operations, lease acquisitions, and related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document title and mineral ownership information
  • Manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines and production goals
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience conducting title, mineral, or ownership research in the Texas side of the Permian
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Energy Management degree may be considered in lieu of some experience when combined with relevant industry knowledge
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)
  • Degree in Energy Management, Energy Commerce, or a related field
