Reports to FAE Manager based in San Jose, CA
Grow "Security opportunities" funnel by working closely with our Sales and Business teams.

Develop proof-of-concept solutions for helping our clients get familiar with Microchip products.
Willingness to travel to receive training or to support other regions as needed.

4-5 years of experience in embedded systems and outstanding technical skills
Know-how of embedded security cryptography, PKI principles and certificate management
Working knowledge of IOT systems and cloud connectivity (Google, AWS, Azure)
Experienced in embedded C programming language. Embedded Linux knowledge is a plus.
BS in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Organizational skills
Work effectively with Field Sales and Business Unit teams
Ability to operate under minimal guidance and assume personal responsibility/accountability comfortably.
Self-starting learner - proactively keeps up to date with new technologies and products
Work effectively with other regions and divisional applications
Proficient written and verbal skills in English
Accomplished Presentation and Training skills

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments.
The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $75,000-$166,000.* *Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.

Provides customers' inputs to Business Lines and influence security related roadmaps.
Primarily customer engagement role to drive design wins to revenue at large accounts, by providing in-depth engineering support including creation of demos or proof of concepts to end customers.
Provide in-depth engineering support and assist customers with hardware and software development.
