About the role

All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
All faculty are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
Foreign equivalent degree accepted.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Demonstrated ability to work with a range of sequencing platforms, particularly long-read and high-throughput technologies.
Demonstrated proficiency in teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and graduate levels in genomics, genetics, and sequencing technologies.

20% Teaching and Mentoring: The Director will teach one to two courses per year focused on nucleic acid sequencing, experimental design, or data analysis, and provide formal and informal mentoring to undergraduate and graduate students.
